Facts about Land for Sale in Hawaii Island
Prices do fluctuate here on the big island. For example, in 2005 prices in Hawaiian Paradise Park increased from around $40,000/1 acre to $95,000/1 acre. Now in late 2009, lots are around $9,000/1 acre in HPP.

South Kona - coffee growing areas at higher altitudes, less expensive as
farther away from Kailua-Kona.
Kau - beautiful views, can be windy.
Puna - tropical, lots of scenic sites and small communities, more
home building here than any other district, 1+ acre lots are more plentiful at
